CAT QUILT

By Maria Chisnall

I do not know the value of this quilt, but it may be quite high!

This quilt was NOT used but was folded in a place where the kitty found it and napped on it a few times but it was not damaged.  It has been washed and looks GREAT, nearly new.

Vertically 40″ wide and 63″ high

Very lovely cat quilt made by Maria Chisnall in Nassau, Bahamas.  See www.quiltinginthebahamas.com and many other sites for more info on Maria.

I am not sure of the value, but she has four quilts hanging in the Nassau airport!  Her quilt, made for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, was presented to the Olympics Committee of the nation of Georgia.  A graduate of the University of York (England), Maria studied Literature & Education and has effectively used both aspects of her training in passing on her quiltmaking skills and in writing about this subject which is her passion. Please read more about this fascinating woman.
